TNavigator 21.1

tNavigator is a powerful software for dynamic simulation of oil and gas tanks. This program is a collective effort of RFD researchers and development team. It can be installed on personal systems, laptops, servers and even HPC clusters. The program is written in C ++ and uses the latest parallel processing technologies and hardware accelerators. The processing speed and performance of this program is commensurate with the hardware capacity of the host system.

Definitely, if you run the program on cluster systems with multiple processing cores, you will see a significant increase in the speed of simulation and processing operations. No technology has been spared to maximize the processing speed of complex models, NUMA, Hyperthreading, MPI / SMP hybrid computing and have been used well where necessary. All of these technologies have been used to ensure that the program serves the professionals with maximum efficiency and outperforms other competitors by a significant margin.

In the product introduction page, interactive simulation is one of the main features of this product. In fact, unlike other simulation tools, this product not only allows monitoring at the moment of reservoir simulation operations, but also allows users to change their desires and parameters during the simulation with a few mouse clicks. See results. This will facilitate the simulation and parametric study of oil and gas reservoirs and will definitely save a lot of time. We recommend that you use tNavigator as one of the best tools in this field if you are involved in reservoir simulation processes in the field of oil and gas engineering or even need research for this final dissertation.

The key new features in tNavigator 21.1 are:

• In the simulation kernel:

– For E1/E3 models: filtration according to the non-linear Forchheimer law is now supported. It accounts for the inertial effects of the fast flow in highly permeableregions (like fractures).

– A way of fracture shape specification via a point set is now available.

– The function for editing grid properties grid_arithmetic() now has an optional parameter, lgr_name, which specifies an LGR to work with.

– Python scripts in SCHEDULE can now access grid property statistics (the .compute_statistics() method of the Grid property object in the user code).

• Graph Calculator in Simulator Graphical Interface, Model Designer and Geology Designercan now access grid property statistics (the .compute_statistics() method of theGrid property object).

• In the Assisted History Matching and Uncertainty module: when launching a matchingprocess from Model Designer, matching to the RFT data is now supported.

• In Geology and Model Designers:

– The creation of folders for well filters is now supported. Allows grouping of wellfilters by specific criteria, such as the wells for a cross section, the wells withgeosteering data, etc.

– A table can now be visualized in graphic form in the Histogram tab, with thepossibility to adjust the captions of its columns and rows.

– A table can now be added to Page Layout.

• In Geology Designer:

– An option to assign individual colors to markers and other objects in the objectstree has been added, which allows sorting objects by color, improves visual perceptionof large data arrays, and greatly speeds up the search for the selected marker.

– A new option titled Use Minimum Zone Thickness has been added. The optionhelps exclude (collapse) zones having lengths and thicknesses less than the userdefined threshold.
