Installation Requirements
Installation requirements include:
A CD drive or access to the Internet required for product installation. The minimum
system configuration for installation:
• Operating System:
– Windows XP SP3 (32 bit)
– Windows 7 (32 bit/64 bit)
– Windows Server 2003 (SP2 or later, 32 bit/64 bit)
– Windows Vista (SP2, 32 bit/64 bit)
– Windows 2008 Server (32 bit/64 bit)
– Windows 2008 Server R2 (64 bit only)
• Software Prerequisites:
– Microsoft .NET Framework version 3.5 (Installer will attempt to download
and install this prerequisite if it is not present during installation)
• Platform Requirements:
– Bentley HAMMER V8i SELECTseries 3 does not require any additional
CAD or GIS software to work as a stand alone application. However
HAMMER V8i can run on the following platform (if available):
– MicroStation V8i (08.11.07.443 SELECTseries 2)
– AutoCAD 2011 (32 bit/64 bit)
– AutoCAD 2012 (32 bit/64 bit)
