What\’s New in EPLAN Fluid 2.9
PLC functions – Newly separated!
New function definitions are now available for you in EPLAN Fluid, including "PLC box (Fluid)" or "PLC connection (Fluid)". This allows you to implement PLC components in fluid-power engineering.
Your Added Value:
– You can separately design PLC functions according to trade.
– The PLC devices designed in fluid-power engineering can be exchanged with configuration programs such as Siemens TIA Portal.
– This means that the exchange between trades functions perfectly, even in mixed projects.
EPLAN Platform
– If a macro which was generated as a protected group was copied and pasted on a schematic page, an unexpected error message occurred. This has been corrected.
– If placeholder texts with specific formatted properties were used in the forms, no values were displayed for the placeholder texts after the reporting. This has been corrected.
– During the output of labeling data for the report type "Summarized parts list" no data was output for a terminal marked on a project page. This has been corrected.
– In the browser window of the EPLAN Data Portal, the shortcut keys for copying and inserting/pasting ([Ctrl] + [C] and [Ctrl] + [V]) only functioned unreliably. This has been corrected.
– If a multiple selection was made in the graphical editor and the popup menu item Synchronize selection was selected, problems could occur when the message management was open. This has been corrected.
– Under certain conditions no part selection could be executed in the placeholder objects for variables which are assigned to part numbers. This has been corrected.
– During a PDF export of a project page with the setting "Archiving format PDF/A" images that were located in the project directory were not included in exporting. This has been corrected.
– The Chromium component "CefSharp" has been updated to the current version 86.0.241. This component is used for the display of contents in the browser windows of the EPLAN platform (for example EPLAN Data Portal, EPLAN Cogineer, etc.)
EPLAN Fluid
– The check run 024018 was displayed for a connection with the "Function overview (fluid power)" representation type, even though a corresponding connection with the representation type "Multi-line" existed in the project. This has been corrected.
