ForTen 4000 v4.9.8

Computational fluid dynamics, usually abbreviated as CFD, is a branch of fluid mechanics that uses numerical methods and algorithms to solve and analyze problems that involve fluid flows. Computers are used to perform the calculations required to simulate the interaction of liquids and gases with surfaces defined by boundary conditions. With high-speed supercomputers, better solutions can be achieved. Our main interest in CFD is the interaction between wind and membrane to evaluate Pressure values, Cp values and optmize the shape. ixForten 4000 has a unique feature to its main competitors in the direction connection to a CFD application for computer fluid dynamic analysis. Within this software we are able to simulate the wind behaviour over the membrane surface and calculate Cp and presssure values. these are finally imported into ixForten 4000 for structural analysis.
