NUMECA International is pleased to announce the release of FINE/Turbo v8.9.1 (including AutoGrid5 v8.9.1), the latest version of the high accuracy multi-block structured Navier-Stokes CFD software dedicated to internal, multi-stage rotating and turbomachinery flow simulations. This latest version fulfills the objective of NUMECA Int. to deliver innovative and high performance solutions targeted to customer needs and market demands.
User friendly functionalities have been added to the meshing tools IGG/AutoGrid5 to facilitate mesh generation. Existing power features linked to the CFD solver have been upgraded, including CPU booster, NLH method, Turbulence modelling, and Fluid/structure coupling, while new tools such as definition of cooling/bleed holes have been added. Significant efforts have been also directed towards improvement of the turbomachinery post-processor CFViewT resulting in more efficient result analysis for our users.
